At the end of every episode, Title-Character - Bear (yes, that is his name!) - would go onto his balcony to speak to Luna, the moon, and tell her all about the days adventures within in Big Blue House. Then, just before Bear went to bed, he and Luna (and occasionally others) would sing The Goodbye Song.
During the song, Bear and Luna would be shown singing, intercut with shots of small bits of action from the episode. All intercut shots are silent, and the song is not disturbed.
